At Tanglefoot Veterinary Services, we offer several equine reproduction services. Services our veterinarians provide include but are not limited to: Mare Breeding Soundness Exams, Breeding Management, Artificial Insemination (AI), and Pregnancy Diagnosis.
We have mobile ultrasounds that are utilized for procedures, as well as liquid nitrogen tanks in-house that store frozen semen for our client’s brood mares.
Overall, equine reproduction encompasses a wide range of biological, physiological, and management aspects aimed at facilitating successful breeding and producing healthy foals. By applying scientific knowledge and reproductive technologies, equine breeders and veterinarians contribute to the advancement and sustainability of the equine industry.
We are equipped to offer referral to board certified veterinarians for the appropriate reproductive cases that require additional work-up or care.
