I am thrilled to have just recently joined the amazing team at Tanglefoot vet services, as part of the administrative support staff and let me tell you, it has been a wild ride already.
As someone who has always loved animals, I thought that I had a reasonable understanding of what I was getting myself into. As I have learned (quite quickly I might add) that nothing could truly prepare me for the whirlwind of adorable chaos that comes with working at the clinic. One moment you are scheduling appointments, the next you are getting a side eye from the office cat, who is clearly plotting your downfall.🐱
So far, it has been a whirlwind of learning (Multi tasking like a pro, with 5 other to-do lists on the go and maybe a treat or two for a very patient pup), the best part has been seeing how caring this team is to the health and wellness of every single animal they care for. Of course, there is the occasional “let’s pretend we are not terrified of the vet” or “you want to put that thermometer where?” face from our four-legged friends but from a C-Section on a cow to snotty Boa Constrictor🐍, the dedication this teams shows is INCREDIBLE!!
I am beyond excited to continue growing in this role, learning more everyday and supporting this wonderful team and the clients. Thank you to everyone who has already made me feel so welcome – I can not wait to see what the future holds. 🐾
